Ilex (Holly)

A deciduous plant, all of these plants grow well in our area (zone). Different species of the plant provide different foliage colors and sizes. These slow growing single stem trees reach 20' within their first 20 years of growth and max out at about 40'. Hollies typically bloom mid spring and bear fruit/seeds in the summer and fall.
